    I purchased two pairs that needed to be linked together, and the manufacturer took care of it within a day—great support! I tested them while driving across 41 miles, from the city through hilly terrain with heavy traffic. The signal stayed clear the entire time and never dropped. These walkie-talkies are truly impressive and work exactly as advertised!

    Reliable Coverage and Impressive Build Quality

    As a licensed amateur radio operator for nearly 30 years, I’m genuinely impressed with how far PoC (Push-to-Talk over Cellular) systems have come. While conventional radios still have their place during complete outages, today’s cellular networks have improved significantly with added redundancy, making them surprisingly reliable—even in some emergency situations. Now, onto the CARRBORG A63. The build quality is exceptional—sturdy and clearly designed for rugged use. It’s impressive to see such a well-constructed device bundled with a full year of service at this price point. I haven’t pushed it to the limits in fringe areas yet, but so far, performance has been excellent. Signal strength, connectivity, and audio clarity have all exceeded my expectations. Notably, the antenna and receiver on this unit appear to outperform my smartphone on the same carrier in terms of signal reception. I’m unsure about the RF output rating, but it communicates with repeaters effortlessly. I’ll provide a follow-up after my upcoming hiking trip, where cell signals are typically weak. For now, I’m seriously considering opening a communications storefront to offer devices like this. Well done, CARRBORG—both on the product and your customer support!

    Fantastic Device – A Hit with the Whole Family!

    These radios met all of my expectations perfectly. First off, they’re incredibly durable—I’ve dropped mine several times from waist height onto concrete, and it didn’t even leave a scratch! Pretty impressive. Just to clarify, these aren’t meant to replace your phone. They’re designed for instant communication—just press a button and talk—and they do that job exceptionally well. They operate on the LTE network, similar to how a smartphone connects, so the coverage and clarity are great. My wife and I really enjoy using them to stay in touch with each other and our kids. It gives us a little extra peace of mind knowing we can reach one another instantly. Honestly, we’ve had such a great experience that I’m planning to buy a few more soon!
