These devices have proven to be an excellent communication tool between me, my colleagues, and friends. Whether we’re 8 hours apart, 20 hours away, or even 30 hours apart by drive time, these radios have consistently performed without a hitch. We’ve never experienced any service disruptions. For those working in more remote or isolated areas, I’d suggest considering a model with a different antenna that’s better suited to your specific environment. That said, even with the standard model, we haven’t had a single issue. They perform exceptionally well! Highly recommended!

Both models deliver the same signal strength at my primary location. I haven’t tested them side-by-side in rural areas yet, but I’m confident they’ll hold up just as well.
